Kathleen Lupia, Esq.
As Chief Risk Officer, Senior Managing Director, Kathy manages and directs Legal Risk Management initiatives on behalf of professional athletic organizations, facilities, facility ownership and management entities in support of security programming and supporting technologies. Her practice is concentrated on the design and execution of safety and security compliance assessments, development of best practices, facilitation and documentation of tabletop exercises, preparation of SAFETY Act submissions, and resiliency services in support of client projects. Safety, security, and emergency preparedness serve as the focal point of all her client offerings.
She has worked on a multitude of projects, which have been accomplished in support of large-scale venues that serve as hosts to sports and entertainment events. Relatedly, her practice is centered around providing guidance to event service contractors, security program technology solutions and vendors as to qualified anti-terrorism candidacy. Each engagement is formulated in accordance with specific client needs in support of SAFETY Act Award attainment and maintenance and/or emergency preparedness, safety, and/or security elements.
Kathy is a graduate of Syracuse University and attained her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law through the Accelerated Liberal Arts/Law Program. Her years of experience as a civil litigator helped form the basis of her unique skill set essential to that of a Legal Risk Manager focused on safety, security, and emergency preparedness strategies.
